Houseboat Jarovce 13.4×13.3 – reconstruction of a wooden house

The complex reconstruction of the houseboat consisted in the extension of the pontoon and the superstructure, the implementation of a septic tank (wastewater tank), new electrical installation, water resp. waste system, completely remodeled interior, including new interior lining and floors, and installation of new windows and doors. We expanded the pontoon from the instructional side, where we had to use additional floats in addition to the steel structure. We used plastic pontoons for the floats – floats that are filled with polystyrene and thus are frost-resistant. These or other floats are also available in our e-shop – lodeaclny.sk. We installed a waste water tank on the embankment side. On the shore, we reconstructed the shore elements for tying up the houseboat. The interior of the houseboat was completely remodeled from laminate, wooden or water-resistant floors, underfloor heating, new thermal insulation and interior lining of walls and ceilings, which we solved in the form of a Tatra profile to fit into the whole concept of a wooden house. In addition to underfloor heating, the houseboat also has a fireplace for better comfort in the winter months. For better comfort on warm summer days, air conditioning is installed on the houseboat not only on the ground floor, but also in the rooms on the upper floor.
