Steel pontoons design

Steel pontoons have a basic structure made of steel, while for corrosion protection we use suitable coatings designed to protect steel against water, or hot-dip galvanization is used for protection, which guarantees higher resistance to corrosion. Pontoons can be made in different variants, while the final size is determined according to the client’s request, to which the number of floats required for the resulting displacement is adjusted.
The pontoon consists of the floats themselves, which guarantee the necessary displacement and the structure that connects all the floats and gives the entire pontoon the necessary strength.
The deck of the pontoons can be made classically wooden or from wood-plastic composite boards, which are suitable for wet environments.
The anchoring of the pontoon to the shore is carried out using pivoting pins or sliding (sliding) support.In the corners of the pontoon there are battens necessary to untie the vessel itself. There is an inspection hole in each float for inspection of the vessel. Due to transport, pontoons can also be delivered dismantled.
